Jessica Miglin is a dual board-certified acute care and psychiatric nurse practitioner with Wayne Behavioral Service. Miglin received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J., her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) from Rutgers University in Newark, N.J., and her post master’s certificate in psychiatric mental health at John’s Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Miglin has been a nurse practitioner for over 16 years and has expertise in acute care and psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. She was previously a surgical critical care nurse, a surgical nurse practitioner at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey and a cardiac intensive care nurse practitioner at Columbia University Medical Center in N.Y. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she is committed to providing high quality, evidence-based care to her clients. She respects her patients’ opinions, listens to their mental health concerns and ensures a supportive, collaborative, empathetic relationship with all her patients. If necessary, she will connect her clients with helpful community and medical resources that can help them better navigate concerns and improve their quality of life.
